Welcome to Rushmore Labradors and the home of Ben, Dawn, Jae, and Benjamin. Rushmore Labradors established in 2003, is a small hobby kennel located in sunny Orange County, California.

We strive on breeding beautiful and healthy Labrador Retrievers which exhibit breed type and standard through excellence in the show ring. It is important that our dogs have the natural instinct, athleticism and stamina to hunt and retrieve all day, and most importantly that they are loving family members.

All of our dogs are of the “English type”; square head, deep chest, thick otter like tail, and that ever so gentle eager to please temperament. Sound health and temperament are of the utmost importance in our dogs.

All of our dogs for breeding are certified for hip and elbow soundness through the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA), eyes are cleared annually through the Canine Eye Registry Foundation (CERF), and hearts are cleared by echocardiogram or auscultation.

We are members of good standing in the HIGH DESERT LABRADOR RETRIEVER CLUB, wherein Dawn served as a board member for 2 years. The High Desert Labrador Retriever club is an organization dedicated to the preservation of the Labrador Retriever.
