We are so excited to announce that we will be having our FIRST litter! We have worked long and hard to get here and we are so happy.

A lot of thought and research goes into who we breed our dogs to, as we would like to keep a puppy for ourselves that exemplifies the breed. The main goal in our breeding program is to improve the breed while maintaining a true “English type" Labrador Retriever temperament and conformation. We strive to produce a litter of healthy, even tempered, beautiful puppies.

Our puppies will reside in our house with us and from the day they are born. They will be loved, cuddled, adored, and handled from the moment they take their first breath. Our goal is to have well socialized puppies.

We are being very careful in selecting families for our puppies. We would like to make sure that the new owner and/or owners are prepared for the life long commitment and responsibilities of the newest addition to your family, as well as being educated on the breed.

We ask that you review the puppy questionnaire.

Our puppies will be ready to go home to their new families at 8 weeks of age. We will send a packet full of information with each puppy. We will make it a point of being available to you for the entire life of the newest Labrador Retriever member of your family. We know how “important” it is to have someone there who is willing to help answer any questions you may have. We could not of come this far without the people that have been there for us, and we are forever grateful to them.

All puppies from Rushmore Labradors will be sold with limited registration. A dog registered with an AKC Limited Registration shall be ineligible to be entered in a breed competition in a "licensed" or "member" dog show. Offspring will not be registered by the AKC. It is our expectation that you will spay or neuter your dog. It is eligible, however, to be entered in any other licensed or member event. These events include: Obedience, Field Trials, Hunting Tests, and Agility.
